This bowl is made from a solid piece of Cherry wood. It's a raw bowl, which means it has been treated with mineral oil and wax and has no other finish on it. It has been professionally dried with no cracks or flaws. It's a beautiful representation of American craftsmanship. The piece measures 7" across and stands 2" tall and has a flat bottom unlike other raw bowls on the market today. It's the perfect size for an individual salad! This is one beautiful sized bowl! It measures 15" across and stands a full 5" high. It's made from one solid piece of Cherry wood, and usually includes mostly heart wood and sometimes a little sap wood. The color combination really reflects the true nature of a tree. This piece is large enough to handle a Caesar salad for eight, or a popcorn feast for the longest of movies! It has been treated with mineral oil and wax and has a flat bottom so it won't rock at all. Makes a great wedding gift or a 5 year anniversary gift! (wood)
